Bob Ableman's Next Great Flyer - This years winter project is starting to look like an airplane. It's a Sig Citabria, 69" wingspan with a Satio 45 four stroke for power.  It might be a little underpowered, but I'm trying to keep it light.  Covering should look very scale-looking, with Coverite fabric and painted markings.  I'm looking forward to flying her in the spring.  See you at the field!

Wow, I forgot how much work it is to paint an airplane!  Between waiting for warm enough weather and masking 10 times, it took all winter.  I haven't weighed it yet...5 cans of paint are pretty heavy.  I need to put in the windows and a couple of odds and ends and then it flying time...Bob
