This fantastic piece of
modeling mastery was started
years ago by one of my old control-line buddies, Marvin Davis.
Marvin had completed most of the aircraft except for radio and engine
install, and final paint and detail on the wing panels.
Unfortunately he passed away before completing the project. I
later purchased the model and, after a year or two of contemplating
how to rig the controls and servos, have resumed working on the plane.

As you can see, everything on
this craft is true to exact scale.
The kit was produced by Procter, well known for highly detailed scale
models. I have decided to power it electrically using an
E-Flight 60 motor. The powerplant can be completely hidden and
all radio gear out of sight.

My goal is to complete the
airplane, fly it once, and donate it for display at an area museum.
